Hanaa hands over the reigns of the Commonwealth Association of Leadership Malaysia to Yap Li Ling.
All in all, a good handover as the associations constitution had set a 2 consecutive term limit on the President. By having groomed and guided younger leaders like Li Ling, Hanaa managed to handover the reins of the association within the set limit.
Not an easy feat, considering that CALM is still a relatively young organisation with members from many places within Malaysia and overseas.
I suppose it is a sign of the times when younger leaders step up faster than what we experienced in our own leadership journey.
Did I have many leadership opportunities in my early 40s? Not as many as what is available right now.
